Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and become a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (91B), you’ll supervise and perform maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles that serve the Army in a variety of mission-critical roles. You’ll inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems and components, and automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and starting and charging systems. 
No experience necessary.  Position is entry level.  
 REQUIREMENTS:  
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card;
  • 17 to 34 Years Old;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines;
  • No Major Law Violations;
  • No Medical Concerns.

TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS:
 
  • 124 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available;
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training;
  • 14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training;
  • 92 ASVAB Score: Mechanical Maintenance (MM).
OR 
  • 88 ASVAB Score: Mechanical Maintenance (MM);
  • 85 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT).
