As the Meat Manager, you are the strategic lead of one of our most vital departments. This is a role for a commercial-minded leader who understands both the art of butchery and the science of retail. You will take full ownership of the department's success—from establishing vendor relationships and curated product ranges to driving profitability through smart pricing and promotions. Your goal is to foster sustainable growth while maintaining the high standards of quality our neighbors expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical & Physical Skill: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and safely operate hazardous equipment (butcher knives, power slicers, heated wrapping stations, etc.) with precision.
  • Experience: Previous management experience in a meat department or high-volume retail environment is highly recommended.
Why Lead at Piggly Wiggly?
