Account ManagerNutritional Vitamin and Mineral Pre-mixesLocation: Southern Region - Based in MOUNTAIN REGION(UT, CO, AZ, WA, OR,GA, NV, WY) - REMOTE w/ travelSelling Nutritional, Functional Vitamin and Mineral Pre-mixes to Food Manufacturers specifically Bakery and Meat Manufacturers across the US (Fortification)Our client is an international manufacturer of high quality, nutritional ingredients sold to Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical and Functional Food Manufacturer globally. The company has recently gone public and are expanding in the US market. As a result, they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to sell Nutritional Vitamin and Mineral Pre-mixes to Bakery and Meat Manufacturers across the USThe individual will be home based and will be tasked to - develop and grow business of existing accounts as well as identify and initiate new opportunities for profitable growth within the region. They will offer a competitive base, bonus potential with an up-capped bonus on new business, car allowance, benefits etc. ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company in a highly professional manner to both key customers and prospective accounts.Sell Nutritional Pre-mixes to Food and Beverage Manufacturers Specifically BAKERY and MEAT Manufacturers.Manage relationships and sales to customers within the Functional Food and Beverage e segment. They also divisions who sell to Nutraceutical/Dietary Supplement and Pharmaceutical ManufacturersCommercial responsibility to deliver agreed sales targets for the business.Identify and on-board opportunities with customers & prospects where company can offer value added solutions.Work closely with cross-functional technical, commercial and operational personnel to progress key identified opportunities.Develop a thorough understanding of the products/capabilities offered by company to the industry.Develop an understanding of competitors, their products and key market drivers.Provide timely information on current and prospective customers, competitors and trends in the Nutritional Ingredient segment.Define an account plan including relationship management and budget in line with other relevant commercial plans. Update regularly based on (own) analysis or trends and developments.Prepare and submit periodical reports per defined formats & proceduresPrepare proposals for contracts, lead and/or participate in and/or support negotiations, including defining the negotiation strategy.Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Operate in a highly ethical manner internally & externally and in full alignment with the company?s way of working.RequirementsMust have at least a 4-year BA/BS degree: Food Science & Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Human Nutrition, Business Administration, Marketing etc. or equivalent experience.Must have at least 5 yrs experience selling -Nutritional Vitamin/Mineral Pre-mixes and have solid contacts at target manufacturers. Must be willing to work from a home office and able to travel within the USMust have a HUNTER mentality and capable of growing sales Knowledge of nutritional ingredients industry is preferredExperience working in ingredient sales to Bakery and Meat Processors in the USMust have excellent communication skills are critical to success of this role.Prefer an entrepreneurial attitude; self starter/hunter mentality.Must have the ability to work remotely.
