Job Description

Experienced Meat Clerk with hands-on meat cutting and processing experience. Skilled in cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing beef, pork, poultry, and seafood products according to company standards. Knowledgeable in food safety regulations, proper product handling, inventory management, and customer service. Able to maintain clean work areas, operate meat processing equipment safely, and ensure attractive product displays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for retail sale.
  • Operate meat saws, grinders, slicers, and other processing equipment safely.
  • Package, label, and price meat products accurately.
  • Maintain fresh and appealing meat displays while rotating stock.
  • Assist customers with product selection, special cuts, and cooking recommendations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help with ordering and receiving shipments.
