Job description

Are you a foodie? Do you love thinking about what you are making for dinner?
Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats has been around for 95 years and we are looking for meat artisans to join our team.  We make pepperoni, salamis and other artisan specialty meats.
 
 This year, the company was taken over by a new team that is focused on eliminating preservatives from everything we make.  The energy in the building is pretty amazing.
The jobs require people to:
  • Prepare and produce safe quality food 
  • Acquire and complete necessary documentation for daily production.
  • Maintain up to date records throughout process.
  • Prepare and package all products as per established specifications.
  • Use Ready To Eat equipment in accordance with all training and safety practices.
  • Accurately label product and cases/bins to ensure traceability.
  • Meat /Supplies Preparation / Retrieval as necessary.
  • Set- up, tear down, clean equipment.
  • Maintain an eye for quality and consistency.
  • Work and promote safe working environment.
  • Keep work area(s) clean and orderly, general cleaning as required.   
  • Be a team player
     
     
Compensation: $18-$25/hour depending on experience.  Promotion from within, bonuses, insurance are all possibilities.
