Job description

This position will support an 8:00AM-4:30PM Mountain Standard Time schedule. At least one weekend day, and overtime as needed will be required.
This role involves handling line-level warehouse receiving, relocating, and organizing merchandise efficiently and accurately. Additionally, it supports the operations of our meat inspection facilities and other warehouse sections.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Operates cleaning equipment, including floor machine, steam machine, etc. to maintain optimum cleanliness of the facility.
  • Prepares meat for inspection according to USDA regulations.
  • Maintains inspection log.
  • Resolves problems including: locations of shipments and bad health certificates.
  • Stays up-to-date on all USDA regulations and changes.
  • May be responsible to assist in security of the meat inspection facility after thorough sanitation.
  • Will be assigned and trained in responsibilities similar to their current role in the warehouse.
  • Inspects facility and may assist in writing SSOP report daily in order to open facility.
  • Will be responsible for property maintenance e.g. mowing, snow removal etc.
Required Qualification:
  • High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous warehousing experience
  • Previous food production experience
The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $24.00, depending on experience and education.
