THE ROLE
Our Meat/Seafood Team Members are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about quality meat and seafood. They enjoy educating others about our delicious offerings, and ensuring our robust display cases are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing. Our fast-paced environment requires team members to successfully prioritize routine tasks such as product management, cleaning and sanitation, food display upkeep and organization, while also responding to immediate guest needs.

  • Provides outstanding customer service and readily communicates product information to increase sales and meet revenue goals; uses product information to increase sales and best service guests.
  • Maintains high-quality standards in product management and presentation, supporting and executing production of Meat/Seafood Department merchandising and displays.
  • Effectively performs seafood cutting and meat wrapping responsibilities; minimizes product loss while producing visually attractive merchandise that will appeal to guests.
  • Adheres to HACCP and Department of Health standards for food safety requirements.
  • Readily participates in product promotions and focuses.
  • Demonstrates dependability and flexibility; meets attendance requirements.
  • Ensures that the highest quality products are stocked; appropriately removes and replaces outdated products from sales areas daily.
  • Participates in physical inventories and practices inventory control.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Meat/Seafood Team Leader and/or Store Director Team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • One year of meat and/or seafood experience preferred.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to problem solve and a proven record of success working in a diverse team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality output while working within deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and possesses strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to positively affect sales generation.
  • Knowledge of food safety, including HACCP and Department of Health guidelines.
