Job description

Rusty Lantern Markets who is DBA Cummings Market, is looking for a meat cutter or butcher associate to work part time at our store in Kennebunk, ME.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with experience in meat cutting and grinding hamburger to join our operation. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working with customers, and is committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and prepare beef and pork products to company standards
  • Grind hamburger and prepare products for retail sale
  • Package, label, and display products in the retail area
  • Assist customers with product selection and purchases
  • Stock and maintain attractive retail meat displays
  • Keep workstations, equipment, and retail areas clean and sanitized
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Perform general cleanup duties and maintain an organized workspace

You will work with a variety of fresh meat products, including:

  • Ribeye steaks
  • New York strip steaks
  • Sirloin steaks
  • Pork chops
