Job description

With 16 branches and five manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Required immediately, our Boise / Meridian Branch is seeking a full time EXPERIENCED TEMPLATER to join the team!

Must have Experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for creating digital file/templates to be used in creating the final product. Involves programming CNC router and preparing CAD files both in shop and on job sites for fabrication of custom countertops in a range of materials. This often involves visiting customer homes to finalize the measurements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • (MUST) have 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft office products, AutoCAD and CAM software
  • Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction, installation or similar
  • Prefer experience in Templating or Fabrication/Installation/drafting using LT3/Raptor
  • Experience in reading blue prints/schematics, etc. along with experience with measurements and Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Must have strong face to face customer service skills, professional appearance, with good communication skills with appropriate command of the English language and the understanding and knowledge of how to deal with people effectively with varied backgrounds
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a background check

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travels to customers' home/business to create templates
  • Completes work orders noting all required measurements, polished edges, cut-outs (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes), plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job
  • Advises customers of any modifications required and providing critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation processes
  • Responds to general customer inquiries while on-site and communicating any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, Operations staff or Production staff in a timely basis
  • Ensures all work orders and completed templates are submitted no later than 24-48 hours from the time of templating
  • Maintains the company vehicle interior and exterior
  • Creates accurate digital drawings of countertops and sinks for installation.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, lift, squat and stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Regular kneeling, bending, and twisting
  • Day shift: 7am-3:30pm
  • Other duties as assigned
