What is the role about?

Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc., is looking for an Customer Service Representative to join their team in Edgemont, PA. The Customer Service Representative role supports our sales teams and customers through accurate order processing, proactive communication, and exceptional service. This role is responsible for order entry, order status updates, basic quoting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a smooth customer experience from order to delivery.

What tasks will you perform?

  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and on time using ERP/CRM systems.
  • Review quotes, POs, acknowledgments, shipping details, and payment terms for accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to customers and internal inquiries (within two hours).
  • Track and communicate order status, ship dates, and delays.
  • Provide basic part-number quotes and follow up to confirm customer needs.
  • Support sales teams and collaborate with Accounting, Logistics, Production, and Service.
  • Participate in special projects and provide backup administrative support as needed.

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

  • High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience.

You may have (preferred):

  • Experience in customer service, order processing, or sales support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred.
  • Customer-focused, organized, and eager to learn.
