The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of patient assessment data within long-term care facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating and completing comprehensive assessments that inform care planning and regulatory reporting. The MDS Specialist collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to analyze patient data, identify care needs, and support quality improvement initiatives. By maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations, the specialist ensures that all documentation meets required standards and supports reimbursement processes. MDS Minimum Qualifications:
