Job description

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Thoracic Radiologist to join their growing practice in Connecticut. This role offers a hybrid-subspecialty model, allowing for personalized sub-specialization with a general-Body position. The position emphasizes a collaborative, physician-led culture with opportunities for uncapped earning potential and a pathway to partnership with profit-sharing. Residents and Fellows are encouraged to apply to this supportive and collegial environment.

  • 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members
  • Covers multiple imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary-academic centers
  • Operates on a hybrid-subspecialty model
  • Unified, enterprise PACS with home workstations for all physicians
  • State-of-the-art cloud-based system with AI tools and workflow enhancement solutions
  • Supports a 20-person residency program

Responsibilities

  • Interpret Cardiac CT studies from hospital and outpatient settings
  • Interpret body imaging across all modalities (plus)
  • Perform a wide range of exams from community hospitals to high-end tertiary care centers
  • Interact with clinical colleagues and attend/present at multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards to earn CME
  • Teach and work with residents (if desired)
  • Work with the on-site Radiology residency program at Hartford Hospital
  • Teach for the University of Connecticut and St. Vincent's Hospital

Compensation

  • Base salary of $625,000 for on-site and $600,000 for remote
  • Productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively
