Product Manager - Agentic AI Framework
JOB SUMMARY
Drives the strategy, development, and adoption of the IT Agentic AI Framework - a foundational platform enabling teams across the IT organization to design, build, and deploy intelligent software agents at scale. The ideal candidate bridges the evolving agentic AI landscape and strategic enterprise IT goals, translating complex multi-agent architectures into governed, reusable capabilities that accelerate solution delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the product roadmap for the Agentic AI Framework, prioritizing orchestration capabilities, agent library governance, and developer enablement across agent teams and solution builders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders on agent design patterns, MCP-based tool integration, orchestration best practices, and context management strategies.
Define and own the enterprise orchestration strategy, establishing standard patterns for sequential, parallel, hierarchical, and event-driven multi-agent workflows adopted across the organization.
Govern the selection, configuration, and evolution of the core orchestration engine - evaluating frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent SaaS offerings) against enterprise scalability, reliability, and governance requirements.
Define and govern the enterprise agent library - overseeing intake, versioning, approval workflows, and lifecycle management of reusable agents, tools, and MCP server endpoints.
Partner with AI architects, security, and compliance teams to embed TRiSM standards into the framework - including explainability, behavioral guardrails, prompt injection defense, and AI risk governance.
Lead enablement for internal agent teams, solution advisors, and domain developers adopting the framework, ensuring teams build confidently on shared infrastructure.
Track the agentic AI ecosystem - emerging standards (MCP, A2A, OpenTelemetry for agents), open-source frameworks, and vendor capabilities - and translate findings into actionable roadmap recommendations.
Define requirements, milestones, and acceptance criteria for framework deliverables in alignment with the AI Center of Excellence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Agentic Orchestration Expertise: Deep working knowledge of multi-agent coordination patterns - supervisor/worker, peer-to-peer, fan-out/aggregation, ReAct, and plan-and-execute - and the ability to prescribe the right pattern for enterprise use cases.
Orchestration Platform Fluency: Hands-on familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Temporal, or equivalent), durable execution models, state management, and workflow failure recovery patterns.
Agentic AI Alignment: Translates business goals into framework capabilities - orchestration patterns, solution accelerators, and reusable agent components that reduce time-to-value.
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of orchestration frameworks, MCP protocol, RAG architectures, LLM gateway patterns, agent memory management, and multi-agent coordination.
AI Governance & TRiSM: Embeds trust, risk, security, and privacy controls by design - guardrails, audit logging, agent cards, and anomaly detection.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Operates effectively across AI engineering, enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and business solution teams.
Innovation Awareness: Maintains current knowledge of the agentic AI ecosystem and proactively shapes the framework roadmap as standards and tooling evolve.
Balances Stakeholders | Customer Focus | Global Perspective | Values Differences.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
4-6 years in product management, platform engineering, or technical program management.
Minimum 2 years in AI, ML, or enterprise software platforms.
Hands-on with agentic AI concepts: LLM tool-calling, multi-agent orchestration, MCP, RAG, and agent memory patterns.
Strong communicator - able to translate complex agentic architecture for both engineering teams and executive audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Act as the voice of the customer by deeply understanding customer needs, personas, and user problems, ensuring solutions deliver real market and business value.
Translate customer insights, user research, and market trends into compelling problem statements that guide product strategy and solution design.
Collaborate with Epic Owners to develop Lean business cases for Epics, aligning investments with value delivery across the Agile Release Train (ART).
Apply portfolio and program-level strategy by aligning product decisions with strategic themes, the Portfolio Canvas, Lean Budgets, and Guardrails.
Own and manage the Program Backlog and Kanban flow, ensuring features are prioritized, transparent, well-defined, and continuously ready for execution.
Lead Program Increment (PI) planning by presenting product vision, approving PI objectives, assigning business value, and determining release timing based on delivered value.
Partner with System and Solution Architecture to understand enablers, influence sequencing decisions, and balance technical and business priorities.
