A typical workday for a McLane CDL Driver involves inspecting your truck, planning your delivery routes, and loading freight onto your vehicle at the distribution center. You’ll make multiple stops to deliver goods to grocery stores, restaurants, or other clients, often unloading products with the help of lift gates or hand trucks. Throughout the day, you’ll interact with store managers or employees, handle delivery documentation, and ensure your vehicle meets safety standards. After completing your route, you’ll return to the distribution center and report back to dispatch or supervisors. The role is physically active and requires excellent organizational skills to stay on schedule and fulfill customer needs.
A McLane CDL Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently.
