OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Cardiac Cath RN - # suites/labs: 5 - #cases per day on average: Coro: 5, Neuro: 1. EP: 3. IR: 16 - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, PCI, diagnostic coronary angiography, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, synchronized cardioversions, TEEs, acute stroke/thrombectomy, peripheral vascular interventions, biopsies, drain placements, and pre/post procedural recovery. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required. STEMI experience required. IR and Neuro IR experience preferred. - EMR/Equipment: Epic, Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson), Lifepak 20 - Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: yes - Cath Lab Techs: Yes, Cath Lab Techs scrub and monitor cases. - Shifts & Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 9-hour shifts with one rotating day off each week and rotating weekday/weekend call coverage. Call hours would include any hours outside of M-F 0700-1630, and will include 24 hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Rotating weekday call based on department staffing needs. - Weekend/Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call based on department staffing needs - Holiday/Call Requirements: Required if holiday falls during contract period. - Floating Requirements: Within the cath lab department only (Coronary, Neuro IR, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Prep & Recovery). - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital provided surgical scrubs - Unit/Department specific orientation: Orientation is individualized based on previous experience and typically includes 1-2 days in each procedural area.
