Ultrasound Traveler

An ultrasound traveler is needed for a 13-week assignment. The shift operates from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The ideal candidate must be able to support a variety of ultrasound cases, including outpatient, mammography, emergency, and operating room procedures.

Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Valid ARDMS Certifications: BLS, ARDMS Must-Have: Experience in supporting Outpatient, Mammography, Emergency Room, and Operating Room cases requiring Ultrasound.

The unit typically has approximately 185 beds and a staff of 4 full-time and 2 PRN members. The traveler will work alongside 3 techs on the day shift and 1 tech on the swing shift. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. The relevant equipment for this position includes GE Logiq and EMR systems like Epic and McKesson PACS. Typical procedures performed include pelvic, OB, scrotal, breast, abdomen, para/thoracentesis, biopsies, arterial, and venous.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, self-motivated, patient-centered, and focused with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality imaging.
