Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, control wiring, and protection schemes.
  • Design/review MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, relay panels, and packaged substations.
  • Perform load calculations, cable sizing, protection coordination, and equipment selection.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL 891, UL 508A, and project standards.
  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, vendor drawing reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, structural, procurement, customers, and utility teams.
  • Provide technical leadership for site issues and customer discussions.
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems, substations, power distribution, or modular electrical buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of switchgear, protection systems, and MV/LV power distribution.
  • Data center electrical experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ETAP, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills.
