In the role of Sr. Manager Shopper Marketing based in Chicago, IL, you will provide thought leadership and project management focused on connecting Molson Coors brands to shoppers through the development on omni-channel solutions. Your team's responsibility is to lead the creation of retail solutions that drive value and sales for our customers, our distributors, and our company.

This position reports to the Senior Director Shopper Marketing and works very closely with internal and external stakeholders through the value chain to deliver solutions that drive profitable growth for our retailers and grow MCBC's share of category and channel.

What You'll Be Brewing:  

  • You will own the execution of the channel strategy, ensuring its strategic alignment across channel and brand teams, and its socialization across sales and marketing teams
  • You will work closely with the shopper insights & category solutions teams to develop annual and quarterly brand planning priorities
  • You will lead the Associate Marketing Managers in the development of shopper solutions through an understanding of brand strategies and their link to channel/COT strategies
  • You will ensure alignment with the sales teams to drive the sell-in and execution of shopper solutions across all stakeholders
  • You will lead budget planning, execution & measurement across your portfolio of brands
  • You will lead agency relationships across multiple agencies to ensure solution effectiveness
  • You will attract, lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of Associate Marketing Managers in such a way to ensure development, superior performance and retention of talent

Key Ingredients: 

  • You have at least 7 years of related sales or marketing experience for a leading CPG organization and have proven team leadership abilities
  • You have experience collaborating with sales on the implementation of shopper programs and you have the ability to build empathy with shoppers and reach them in the occasions they seek
  • You love a challenge - you complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

You have an attention to detail and act with a sense of urgency to deliver quality work that meets the needs of your stakeholders

You have a passion for creative effectiveness and bringing our brands to life effectively

  • You are confident and competent - you are diplomatic, professional, and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings$113,000.00 - $148,300.00 (posting salary range) + 20target short term incentive +  target long term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
