Job Summary:
McAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers, and they are seeking an experienced Okta IAM Engineer to join their Identity and Access Management team. The role involves implementing and maintaining the Okta platform while modernizing identity infrastructure and driving the growth of McAfee’s IAM program.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation and administration of our Okta platform.
• Deployment of Okta Identity Governance for access certifications and remediations.
• Implementation of Okta SSO and Provisioning (SCIM, JIT, API) for SaaS applications.
• Design and implementation of Access Requests & Approval process with Okta.
• Administration of (Non)Employee Lifecycle Management with Okta Workflows.
• Defining birthright access roles and implementation with Okta group rules.
• Role Based Access Control discovery and implementation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience working with Okta, Consultant certification preferred.
• Experience implementing MFA with Okta including Verify Push and Biometrics.
• Strong understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, LDAP, RADIUS).
• Experience building and maintaining Okta Workflows.
• Experience leveraging Workday as an authoritative source in Okta.
• Experience leveraging and scripting against the Okta API.
• Experience with delegated authentication to Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams on complex problems.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
• Consultant certification preferred.
