Job description

Purpose:

To create RFI/RFQ costs and deliver it to top management for MCA’s future business. This position will also create feasibility study reports for new investments, and plan and manage CAPEX.


Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Cost planning: Quotes for new programs, cost tracking
  • Study feasibility of the new production presenting different models and help management in decision making.
  • Establish long-term business plan reflecting the changes in business environment such as sales forecast, material cost, sourcing, and other associated cost and consideration that might affect profitability.
  • Analyze plan vs actual accurately pointing out areas where the plan was not accomplished and present solutions.
  • Assess indirect cost rate to accurately calculate profitability for different products.
  • Administer management by objective.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in related field preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP and ERP experience preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good multi-tasking and time management skills with ability to make analytical and logical decisions


Legal Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Working Conditions:

  • Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent on the manufacturing floor, warehouse, or foundry areas
  • Rare exposure to environmental, safety-regulated, or industrial hazards
  • Occasional use of stairs and navigation of uneven surfaces
  • Rare use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and safety glasses

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant use of computer, keyboarding, and standard office equipment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting with occasional walking
  • Constant use of vision, speech, and hearing for communication and computer-based tasks
  • Rare lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling of items up to 10 pounds

Remote Work: This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work
