Job description

Position Type: Seasonal

This position manages or performs all of the duties required of On Field MC, coordinates with public address announcer and on-field promotions team "Flight Crew" ensuring all elements of the game's entertainment are fulfilled and meeting community and partner requirements.

 
Job Responsibilities
  • Act as on Field MC/In-game Host
  • Interact and communicate with fans
  • Manage game entertainment script
  • Open to "on-the-fly" creative and interesting skits for entertainment as needed
  • Assist with pre-game player, mascot interactions and fan experiences on-field as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 

Preferred

  • Good time management
  • Knowledge of baseball rules 

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements

  • Physical ability to work long hours and weekends for a minimum 20 IronBirds home games
  • Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather condition
