DescriptionWorking under the supervision of attending physicians, the position handles more advanced and specialized cases, and provides direct patient care while completing advanced training in their specific medical or health discipline to gain specialized skills and experience. This role is also involved in non-clinical activities such as research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Medical Degree (MD, DO, MBBS) or other doctoral-level degree (e.g., Ph.D., PharmD) from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of a general (core) residency program
- Experience: Proven clinical experience in a relevant specialty.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must be eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Texas
