About the Position

A hospital in Ottumwa, IA is seeking a senior-level Director of Laboratory to provide leadership and oversight for its laboratory operations. This is an on-site, in-person role at a medical facility in Ottumwa, IA. Partial relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

The role.

The Director of Laboratory is responsible for the strategic and operational management of laboratory services, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective delivery of diagnostic support across the organization. This position requires the ability to exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment while working with a high degree of independence in a demanding clinical environment.

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
