POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Business Advisor, Operations delivers both standard and customized advisory mandates focused on improving business performance through process optimization, digital enablement and intelligent use of management systems and data.

This role targets experienced professionals who can bridge business processes, technologies (ERP, operational systems, analytics, AI) and change management to help SMEs increase productivity, scalability and decision quality.

The Advisor manages endtoend project delivery, acts as a subject matter expert, supports solution development and, when required, contributes to business development activities.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Deliver standard and customized advisory mandates focused on:

    • Business process optimization

    • Operational performance improvement

    • Digital transformation of operations

    • Intelligent use of data, automation and AI to support decisionmaking

  • Design and implement pragmatic, technologyenabled solutions adapted to SME realities, including:

    • Optimization of management systems (ERP, MES, CRM, WMS, BI tools)

    • Integration of digital tools to support planning, execution and performance monitoring

    • Identification of highvalue use cases for automation, analytics and artificial intelligence

  • Manage project delivery by:

    • Defining scope, objectives, roadmap and deliverables

    • Monitoring budget, schedule, risks and quality

    • Ensuring high professional standards and measurable client impact

  • Act as a subject matter expert in operational efficiency, digital operations and emerging technologies by:

    • Staying current on market trends related to management software, data, automation and AI

    • Contributing to the evolution of practice methodologies, tools and offerings

  • Contribute to business development by:

    • Supporting client diagnostics and needs assessments

    • Providing input to custom proposals and solution design

    • Supporting Client Partners in positioning valueadded, technologyenabled solutions

  • Work closely with internal partners (Client Partners, Account Managers, Consultants, Business Advisors) to:

    • Transfer knowledge and best practices

    • Codeliver complex mandates

  • Participate in practice outreach by:

    • Presenting at internal or external events

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, information systems, industrial engineering or related field

  • MBA or relevant professional designation is an asset

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a consulting or advisory environment, with demonstrated exposure to:

    • Business process reengineering

    • Operational performance improvement

    • Digital transformation of operations

Core Expertise

  • Strong expertise in business process analysis and optimization, beyond purely technical or engineering approaches

  • Solid understanding of management and operational systems, such as:

    • ERP (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Acomba, etc.)

    • MES / WMS / CRM

    • Business intelligence and performance dashboards

  • Experience with technology selection, implementation support or optimization is a strong asset

Digital, Data & AI Orientation

  • Good understanding of how data, analytics, automation and artificial intelligence can support:

    • Productivity gains

    • Better decisionmaking

    • Process standardization and scalability

  • Ability to identify realistic, highvalue AI or automation use cases in an SME context (not hypedriven)

  • Comfort collaborating with IT, software vendors and digital specialists, without needing to be a technical developer

Consulting & Delivery Skills

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver both standard and custom consulting mandates

  • Strong project management skills and understanding of professional services delivery best practices
