In this role, you will:
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Serve as the principal solution architect across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Business Central, Customer Engagement (Sales, Service, Field Service), and Project Operations engagements
- Design end-to-end solution architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Microsoft's product roadmap and Well-Architected Framework
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and proof-of-concept initiatives for complex, multi-workload implementations
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across the practice
AI Innovation & Copilot Studio
- Champion the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI Builder across client solutions-identifying high-value use cases and building reference architectures
- Design intelligent automation patterns leveraging autonomous agents, generative AI plugins, and knowledge-grounded copilots within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
- Stay ahead of the curve on Microsoft's AI roadmap (Azure AI Services, Copilot extensibility, Dataverse agents) and translate emerging capabilities into client value
Build internal accelerators, reusable AI components, and thought leadership content that positions Centric as a market leader in AI-powered business applications
Power Platform Excellence
- Architect enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions including Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), Power Pages, and Power BI
- Design robust Dataverse data models, security architectures, and integration strategies across the Microsoft ecosystem
- Drive adoption of ALM best practices, environment strategies, and Center of Excellence governance for Power Platform at scale
Client Engagement & Practice Growth
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior IT leaders, translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes
- Lead discovery workshops, assessments, and roadmap engagements that drive pipeline growth and expand existing accounts
- Contribute to proposals, SOWs, and estimates with high-quality technical content and realistic delivery plans
- Mentor and coach consultants across the practice, raising the technical bar and fostering a culture of continuous learning
Additional Details: This is not your typical architecture role. We're looking for a visionary technologist who lives at the intersection of enterprise business applications and the AI revolution. As Principal Architect, you'll be the senior technical authority across our Microsoft Business Applications practice-designing transformative solutions that fuse Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio into intelligent, integrated ecosystems for our clients.

- Deep Microsoft Expertise: 10+ years in the Microsoft ecosystem with hands-on architecture experience across Dynamics 365 (F&O, BC and/or CE) and Power Platform. You know the platform's strengths, limitations, and where it's headed.
- AI-First Thinking: You're not just aware of Copilot Studio and AI Builder-you're building with them. You have practical experience designing AI-augmented solutions and a genuine passion for what's possible with autonomous agents and generative AI.
- Architectural Rigor: You can whiteboard a complex multi-workload architecture, articulate trade-offs to stakeholders, and produce documentation that development teams can execute against with confidence.
- Consulting Acumen: You thrive in client-facing roles. You can command a room, navigate organizational politics, and deliver hard truths with empathy. You've led rescue projects and know how to stabilize troubled engagements.
- Growth Mindset: You dedicate time every week to learning. You're active in the community, contribute to blogs or speaking events, and see teaching others as a core part of your role.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Microsoft certifications (PL-600, MB-700, PL-200, AI-102, or equivalent)
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service, Semantic Kernel, or other enterprise AI frameworks
- Background in ISV or IP development on the Microsoft platform
- Contributions to the Microsoft community (MVP, blog author, speaker, user group leader)
- Experience with Microsoft partner programs (Solutions Partner designations, PLSR, co-sell)
