Job description

Who We Are
Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that includes solutions for video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.
We've got serious momentum in the market: more than 30,000 customers (including 100+ of the Fortune 500), a $5.8B valuation, more than $1 billion in annualized bookings, and backing from CapitalG, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Felicis Ventures, Next47 and more. Physical AI is one of the most consequential technology shifts of our time, and Verkada is at the center of it.
You can look at all kinds of communities to see our platform's impact in the world. It's the retailer that uses our agentic AI to deter theft before it happens. The warehouse that uses AI-powered alerts to make sure its team is protected on the floor with proper PPE. The school that's alerted to a threat in real-time and triggers a lockdown in seconds, not minutes. We're rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries.
About the Team
Our product team is defined by a deep commitment to technical excellence, market success, and an uncompromising standard for simple, elegant product design. We are constantly scaling our core product lines while simultaneously shaping 0-1 product experiences that transform how organizations operate. We maintain an uncompromising bar for quality and iterate quickly, embracing the tension of shipping fast while ensuring a simple, powerful, and unified customer experience.
We will interview MBA candidates for the general product team and conduct a team-matching process upon making an offer to join us. All roles are based onsite 5 days per week at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.
What You'll Do
  • Lead a dedicated team of engineers and designers to build products and features that protect people and places in a privacy-sensitive way
  • Launch new products into our established sales channel and reseller network. Own pricing, go-to-market positioning, and sales training
  • Gather customer feedback and dig into customer use cases to understand their needs and to prioritize feature development
  • Deliver product excellence with great product documentation including PRDs, user flows, roadmaps, and requirements and measure impact on key business metrics (growth, retention, NPS, and engagement)
  • Make data-driven decisions to define and optimize product pricing
  • Train and educate our Sales team on new product features and releases, and partner with them to close strategic customer accounts
  • Establish technology partnerships with complementary tech companies
What You Bring
  • Must be graduating from an accredited MBA program in 2026
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business-oriented function
  • Strong technical understanding and an ability to establish credibility with engineers and customers alike
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into data
  • Ability to lead across strategy and execution. We pride ourselves in sweating the details and search for this in candidates
  • Real passion for craftsmanship and product details. If you've spent days retrofitting your house with the latest smart home technology, you'll like it here
  • Experience selling enterprise products is a bonus
