Job Overview
Assistant Director, MBA Admissions Marketing & Operations, McDonough School of Business -Georgetown University
The Assistant Director of MBA Admissions, Marketing Operations has a primary responsibility to recruit, yield, and enroll Full-time, Part-time, and Online MBA students which allows our team to meet enrollment targets. S/he is the sole team member who manages the intersection between operations and marketing communications, and provides both strategic and tactical oversight to the full applicant lifecycle. This looks like managing all operations communications, including crafting email language, determining appropriate audiences, deploying communications, and tracking results. S/he is a primary contact on the MBA Admissions team who manages the Marketo marketing automation tool, manages marketing operations responsibilities, and works to execute strategy related to marketing analytics reporting, and lead scoring. S/he is a content creator, such as managing the MBA Admissions blog, contributor to video production, and creator of organic content. S/he will support onboarding of new marketing technology, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud. S/he has core admissions duties which include: representing the school at global in-person and virtual recruitment events/webinars, reviewing applications for admission, interviewing applicants, responding to requests for information and serving as an Admissions Advisor. This position also supports special projects as needed.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing the intersection between operations and marketing communications, strategically and tactually
  • Primary content creator within MBA Admissions MarCom
  • Execute strategy related to marketing analytics reporting
  • Recruiter and Admissions Committee member (reads and interviews MBA applicants)

Work Interactions
The Assistant Director will report directly to the Associate Dean of MBA Admissions and will work very closely with the Assistant Dean of MBA Operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience within a corporate or university setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and written communication skills to effectively communicate with students, faculty and outside vendors.
  • Must be comfortable working with technology, analyzing market data, learning new systems and have demonstrated strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products. Experience with a CRM or marketing automation tool is preferred.
  • Strong collaborator in nature, possess sound judgment, critical assessment with solid follow-up.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of or experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Airtable, or Marketo preferred.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$47,586.00 - $87,558.13
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
