Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our System Vice President of Finance for Ambulatory Surgery, you will be responsible for all financial planning, reporting, budgeting, analytics, and project modeling across CommonSpirit’s Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) portfolio.

Every day you will serve as the finance lead supporting ASC operations, business development, and executive leadership, ensuring timely and accurate financial insights that drive growth, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. You provide oversight of core FP&A processes, including forecast development, variance analysis, performance reporting, and multi-year financial modeling. You will partner closely with ASC operations, business development, strategy, accounting, and market leadership to support both organic and inorganic growth activities.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to:

  • Lead all financial reporting, performance analysis, and strategic insights for our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) portfolio.
  • Drive annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting for all ASC operations, partnering closely with operational and market leadership.
  • Spearhead financial modeling and business case development for new ASC growth initiatives (de novo, expansions, M&A) and strategic projects.
  • Manage financial relationships and reporting for ASC joint ventures, ensuring transparency and compliance with partners.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to ASC operations and executive leadership, guiding performance improvement and long-term planning.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or healthcare finance.
