Follett Content Solutions helps build a diverse collection of print and digital resources to support every student. We are currently hiring for a Business Development Rep.ย 

This position is a non-exempt full-time position located in McHenry, IL. The pay for this position is $20 per hour which is equivalent to $41,600 annually along with bonus eligibility. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and 2 remote days (Wednesday & Friday).

About the Role:

  • As a Sales Development Consultant, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.ย 
  • You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share.ย 
  • Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate new leads, build strong relationships with clients, and close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Close deals and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
