If you take pride in providing great service, love making people feel special, and want to make money with a flexible schedule, then we want to hear from you!Job Summary:Providing our Guests with amazing food and drinks while delivering top notch hospitality and service; the Food and Beverage Server must take food and beverage orders, including wine/alcohol service, perform table maintenance, complete side work, maintain health code standards, and provide excellent customer service for all guests as defined by Mazza's Hospitality standards. The Food Server handles guest checks and related financial transactions.

Activities & Responsibilities:Primary:Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Mazza's Hospitality:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes and garnish standards.Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, balance cash receipts.Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.Clean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.Record drink and food orders accurately and immediately from serving staff or bar patrons.Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar.Minimum QualificationsBe 21 years of age or olderKnowledge of service and food and beverages.Excellent basic mathematical skillsAble to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systemAble to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 50 poundsStamina to work 50 to 60 hours per weekOur Story:Mazza's Hospitality is a family-owned restaurant group serving Mount Vernon and Knox County, Ohio, with two local favorites: Mazza's Restaurant & The Pub Kitchen & Tap.
