Job description

Pathology Opportunities in Palm Beach County

We are currently seeking a General Pathologist for a new hospital location in Palm Beach, with an anticipated start date of June 1, 2026 (ASAP availability preferred).

Position Details:

  • Specialty: General Pathology
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Call: Shared among three physicians initially
  • Volume: Lower case volume expected during the first year
  • Compensation: $330,000 $365,000 annually (1099 to start)
  • Support: Part-time assistant provided
  • Practice Setting: Solo pathologist on-site at launch
  • EMR System: Cerner

Scope of Work:

  • General pathology cases only (no genetics, molecular testing, or FISH)
  • Responsibilities include reading general pathology slides, non-GYN cytology, and frozen sections
  • Proficiency in performing frozen sections is required
