Job Description
Performs professional, technical, and analytical work in support of business unit and enterprise-wide initiatives, with an additional focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) analysis and Central Analytics reporting. This role will also serve as a resource for the Utility Intelligence program and may be responsible for defining business and operational requirements, assessing current-state processes, facilitating and participating with testing needs, and supporting the implementation of data-driven change initiatives. 
 

The Asset Management and Central Analytics Analyst utilizes knowledge of Company program areas and provides supportive information and data to define and implement solutions to meet varying customer needs, as well as analyze business processes and workflows with theobjectiveof finding out how they can be improved. Duties include facilitating discussions to elicit informationrequiredto develop requirements; gathering and using data to research, analyze, design, test and evolve solutions; andassistingand leading as needed through change to future-state environments. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.  
  • Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions.  
  • Evaluate, design, and improve systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and meet business needs.  
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics that support decisionmaking across the organization.  
  • Configure systems, perform testing (unit, integration, UAT), and support implementation and ongoing maintenance.  
  • Lead or contribute to projects and programs including scoping, planning, execution, and documentation.  
  • Consult with stakeholders, provide recommendations, communicate findings, and act as a resource to team members.  
Requirements
Business Analyst I: 
  • AA degree or two years’ relevant course work in Information Systems, Business Administration, Science, Math, or related field. BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience
  • General knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications, such as CC&B, Maximo, Cognos, Excel, or GL Wand.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to logically analyze problems of limited complexity, analyze data, and reach logical conclusions.
  • Ability to create basic queries within a domain.
  • Understanding of utility business and operations preferred.
Hiring Range: $59,861 to $76,921
Business Analyst II includes the requirements for I plus: 
  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Science, Math, or related field.

Hiring Range: $100,378 to $131,496
Preferred requirements:  
  • Financial modeling experience, including Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Probabilistic Analysis, IRR Calculations, and Alternative/Scenario Analysis preferred.  
  • Advanced knowledge with Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance preferred. 
  • Advanced knowledge with SQL and Oracle databases for data extraction, transformation, and analysis preferred. 
  • Experience with AI agents and automation tools such as Power Automate preferred. 

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our 1411 E. Mission, Spokane, WA. office at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.
