We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Distribution Engineer II to join our team at K&A Power Group in Oakbrook, IL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:

  • Perform and execute underground distribution design or residential distribution design
  • Perform scope analysis of work assigned and maintain schedule adherence in support of client priorities
  • Designs also include overhead and underground electric facilities, distribution system maintenance, repair, and improvement, public works, and routine program work
  • Perform QAQC and Final Reviews
  • Assist with potential fielding work as well if needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 4+ years of distribution design experience
  • Previous Duke project experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability or experience with Maximo, BOUD, and Pole Foreman
  • Katapult experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow prescribed standards and procedures

Pay Range $78,000-108,000/year
