Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Systems Analyst independently leads and delivers complex supply chain systems and process improvement work that spans business and IT. This role translates supply chain needs into scalable system solutions, drives requirements and design for enhancements, and leads testing and implementation activities to improve performance, data integrity, and user adoption. The position operates with limited supervision, determines appropriate methods and priorities for assigned initiatives, and guides business users and peers through change by providing clear recommendations and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Manager, Supply Chain Analytics to shape and execute the supply chain systems and applications roadmap by translating priorities into deliverable initiatives and releases.
  • Acts as the primary Supply Chain liaison to IT, providing functional leadership on supply chain processes, impacts, and priorities to drive system improvements aligned to the supply chain technology strategy.
  • Leads end-to-end requirements efforts for system upgrades and enhancements, including stakeholder discovery, process mapping, documentation, and validation of business needs and solution outcomes.
  • Partners with Business and IT to evaluate options, recommend approaches, and define acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet operational and data integrity requirements.
  • Leads functional testing for enhancements and releases (test strategy, test cases, execution, defect triage, and regression validation) and supports go-live readiness and stabilization.
  • Prioritizes and sequences enhancement requests by assessing value, urgency, effort, risk, and operational impact; communicates tradeoffs and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Leads cross-functional projects centered on supply chain systems and process improvements, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to achieve intended outcomes.
  • Drives digital adoption by building relationships across business units, developing enablement materials, and delivering training to ensure consistent tool usage and sustained change.
  • Serves as a “super user” and functional expert for key supply chain systems, resolving complex user issues, escalating effectively to IT, and ensuring root-cause fixes are implemented.
  • Proactively identifies data issues, system errors, and inefficient workflows; develops practical solutions and implements process controls to improve accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Guides business users and peers on standard processes and best practices to maintain data integrity and consistent execution across supply chain activities.
  • Stays informed on emerging technologies and supply chain tools (including AI-enabled capabilities) and periodically advises management on opportunities, use cases, and incremental improvements.
  • Role is not limited to the above listed responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, management information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, systems, analytics, or related area
  • Experience with SAP S4Hana, Maximo, GAINs, Descartes, IntelliTrans, or Coupa Supply Chain Preferred.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, supporting system implementations, or driving process improvements is preferred.

Physical and Work Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based role with extended periods of sitting, computer use, and screen time
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in-person meetings
  • May occasionally need to move between office areas or attend meetings across facilities
