Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction project closeout documentation.
  • Review, process, and reconcile contractor invoices.
  • Verify project records, compliance documentation, as-builts, leakage and repair logs, service line documentation, pipeline data, and invoice supporting documentation.
  • Compile, analyze, reconcile, and complete all tasks associated with closing a construction project and processing contractor invoices, including job orders and completion reports, designed versus constructed projects, and more.
  • Utilize business systems such as Maximo, Oracle, SharePoint, Excel, and others to enter or verify data, prepare reports, and maintain project records.
  • Prepare completion reports, invoice documentation, FERC account coding, debit memos, journal entries, and job-to-job material transfers.
  • Communicate effectively with Field Operations, Engineering, GIS, and Property Accounting on documentation quality and project status.
  • Assist with financial forecasting processes by analyzing project statuses and invoice timings.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting construction, utility, engineering, or capital projects.
  • Background in contractor invoice processing or project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and applicable software such as Oracle, Maximo, SharePoint, PowerPlant, TEAMS, etc.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, reports, maps, and project records.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
