WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Exemplifies MCR’s values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Receive and log all work requests coming into the shop and perform data entry using CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Software.
  • Dispatch and distinguish priority work requests to be dispatched.
  • Utilize CMMS to close completed work orders into the system, including parts used, associated purchase order number, and all relevant information.
  • Issue, monitor, and record parts, materials, tools, and other requirements needed by Building Maintenance Engineers.
  • Monitor and reset fire alarms, addressing any issues with fire alarms as required.
  • Maintain inventories and minimum/maximum stocking levels of parts and controls on and off site.
  • Develop and maintain Casino wide equipment inventories; enters appropriate data for equipment maintenance history.
  • Create and update equipment maintenance history reports.
  • Assist Engineers with projects as needed.
  • Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • 2 (two) years of experience performing maintenance and facilities dispatching required.
    • Experience in using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Maximo MRO, Data Stream, or JD Edwards is preferred.
    • Ability to obtain a Class IIIA gaming license. 

    HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL

    • Knowledge of technical terms used in facilities management, maintenance, or shop operations and basic power/hand tools.
    • Skilled using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    • Ability to answer phone calls and radio communication in a professional manner.
    • Ability to distinguish and dispatch priorities while working under pressure.
    • Ability to type/keyboard 25+wpm.
    • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.
