We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Oral Surgery Assistant to join one of the top-rated oral and maxillofacial surgery practices in Cleveland / Akron / Youngstown Ohio Market, led by a board-certified surgeon known for excellence in patient care and surgical outcomes.

 Position Overview:As a Lead Oral Surgery Assistant, you will support complex surgical procedures including extractions, implants, biopsies, and IV sedation cases. You will work closely with our surgeon, clinical leadership, and administrative staff to ensure the highest standard of care and patient experience.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current X-ray license and CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • DAANCE or OMSA certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of oral surgery or surgical assisting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate surgical needs
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality patient care
  • Must be comfortable traveling between locations as part of a coordinated team schedule (travel is reimbursed
