Vantor is a place for problem solvers, changemakers, and go-getters - where people are working together to help our customers see the world differently, and in doing so, be seen differently. Come be part of a mission, not just a job, where you can: Shape your own future, build the next big thing, and change the world. To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee. Export Control/ITAR: Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Please review the job details below. We are seeking an AI-native Full Stack Software Engineer who embraces AI as a core engineering capability. The ideal candidate is a cloud-native software engineer who leverages AI throughout the engineering lifecycle to accelerate software delivery while maintaining ownership of software quality, security, and maintainability. This engineer thrives in an AI-Assisted (Agentic) Software Development Lifecycle (ASDL), contributes within a specification-driven engineering environment, and continuously seeks opportunities to automate engineering work and improve developer productivity.

Position Summary

The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports scalable cloud-native software solutions. Working closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Solution Architecture, this role owns features end-to-endโ€”from engineering specifications through production deploymentโ€”delivering secure, reliable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Vue.js, and Python/FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine engineering specifications and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Develop secure, scalable APIs and software following engineering standards and best practices.
  • Apply AI throughout the AI-Assisted (Agentic) SDLC to accelerate implementation, code review, testing, debugging, and documentation while validating all AI-generated outputs.
  • Contribute to engineering automation, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled development practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing cloud-native software applications.
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, Vue.js, React, Angular, PostgreSQL and Python/FastAPI.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, modern software design, Agile development, and engineering best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an AI-Assisted (Agentic) SDLC, using AI to generate production-ready code, validate automated tests, identify and remediate defects, and improve software quality while exercising sound engineering judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with GCP or multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Spec-Driven Development or specification-first engineering.
  • Experience creating AI agents, engineering automations, or AI-enabled developer workflows.
Pay Transparency
  • The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $86,000.00 - $115,000.00 - $126,500.00 annually.

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidateโ€™s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
