Job Summary

The Transport Driver for a nursing home in Florida is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role includes assisting residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, securing mobility aids, and maintaining transportation logs in compliance with state regulations.

In addition to driving duties, the Transport Driver supports front office operations by assisting the receptionist as needed. This may include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, handling basic administrative tasks, and providing general customer service to residents, families, and staff. The position requires strong communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare environment.
