Position Summary
We are immediately seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring orders are going out for deliveries in a timely manner.
Branch: All Tile - CCS in Wood Dale, IL
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $20-$22/hr
Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.
  • Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.
  • Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.
  • Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.
  • Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.
  • Assist the branch in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.
  • Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.
Qualifications
Education amp; Experiences
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.
  • Must be able to provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results.
  • Must be able to regularly lift over 75 lbs.
Other Qualifications
  • Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry is a plus.
  • Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.
  • Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
