JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for advancing and securing sales in assigned territory using sales tools to grow market share and revenue. Must perform functions to secure new account business, and service the needs of the existing sales accounts with an assigned market. Must meet standards set forth by the Team Leader, Area Sales Leader, and Director of Sales Operations.



Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Sales by following established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell the organization's products within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet sales targets
  • Pre-work daily to prepare for next day calls to maximize sales and pursue sales leads
  • Personally visit existing and new customers to assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive professional and customer relationships
  • Manage territory and service obligations to meet established revenue targets
  • Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with managers, suppliers, and more experienced sales professionals
  • Merchandise and rotate product in the market to uphold product standards


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Have valid Driver’s license and must be 21 years of age
  • Required to drive to multiple locations and maintain sufficient insurance. Must abide by all traffic and motor vehicle laws and regulations
  • Beverage and consumer product sales experience preferred
  • Computer skills, Microsoft office preferred
  • Very outgoing along with strong self-direction
  • Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, and multitask


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations
  • Must be to work flexible hours through the week and, sometimes weekends
  • Week before and, during National Holidays are a must to work
  • Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested. Other restrictions may apply
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. minimum, climb ladders while working safely
  • Able to maneuver floor jacks in large box stores
  • Rotate and build multi-case displays
  • While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus


SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday, occasional weekends
  • 9AM - 5PM
