What is a maverick?

In a professional context, 'Mavericks' are individuals who think and act independently, often challenging established norms and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to their fields. They are known for their creativity, willingness to take risks, and ability to drive change within organizations. Mavericks can be found in various industries and are valued for their unique perspectives, which can lead to breakthroughs and improvements in processes or products.
