Technical/Functional Skills :


Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with an emphasis on functional test management. 

3-5 years working in Insurance and Claims management web sites business analysis 

Experience in a .NET/ JAVA Web environment with a good understanding of these technologies and platforms.` 

Ability to interview business users, create use cases & scenarios. 

Should have expertise in analyzing present-state processes, business processes and create test plans. 

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Visio &  MS-Project 

Excellent communications skills - verbal and written & problem solving skills 

Technical writing skills to create Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), Nonfunctional Requirements Document and Use Cases Specifications. 

Strong process modeling using UML (Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, etc.) 

Strong in writing SQL queries and reporting the results to the business team. 

Strong Requirement Traceability Matrix mapping. 

Experience with Web Development E commerce projects. 

Experience in Requirements for User Interface designs, Insurance website experience will be advantageous. 

Conceptual and working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, RUP, OO Models and UML Methodologies. 

Fluent in a broad range of technologies, including business process tools such as MS Project, Excel, Access, Visio. 

Strong database integration experience. Worked on analyzing data needs, identifying relational databases and coordinating the modeling. 

Experience in Requirement Analysis, JAD sessions, Business and Systems reviews and working sessions to understand the requirements and system design. 

Knowledge of the applicable insurance domain (Products and Rating for P&C)
