Role Overview We are looking for an experienced
MATLAB / Simulink Developer to support
model-based development for embedded control systems within the
power generation domain. The ideal candidate will design, simulate, and validate control algorithms using
MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow, and contribute to embedded software development for
generator sets and automatic transfer switch (ATS) controllers.
This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on modeling experience, and a solid understanding of
electrical systems and power generation principles.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop moderately complex control algorithms using MATLAB / Simulink (Model-Based Development)
- Create Simulink and Stateflow models to generate embedded software for:
- Generator set controllers
- utomatic Transfer Switch (ATS) controllers
- Perform performance simulations, including:
- Steady-state analysis
- Dynamic and transient behavior simulation
- Utilize mathematical models and CAE/scientific tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, MathCAD, etc.
- Conduct and support product-level testing and validation activities
- Create and maintain design documentation for technical reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, validation, and embedded software teams
Required Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience in MATLAB / Simulink Model-Based Development (MBD)
- Strong understanding of MATLAB and Simulink fundamentals, tools, and workflows
- Hands-on experience with Stateflow
- Experience with embedded control systems
- Strong background in performance simulation (steady-state, dynamic, transient)
- Experience in product-level testing and validation

Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred) - Understanding of electrical systems in the power generation industry, such as:
- Distributed / embedded power generation
- Conventional centralized power generation
- Islanded / standalone power systems
- Experience working with industrial controllers, generators, or power systems
