Job description

7th Street Casino is currently seeking Bartenders!! Hours include evenings, weekends and all major holidays. Must have previous Bartending experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all casino guests and team members
  • Greet guests and build personal first name relationships
  • Maintain a well stocked, orderly, and clean work and guest environment
  • Prepare beverages for service to beverage servers and guests
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks with standard portion control in accordance with policies and procedures of 7th Street Casino
  • Responsible for beverage sales reports and all cash/comp sales transactions
  • Adhere to all internal controls and accounting policies and procedures of 7th Street Casino
  • Understand and perform at a high level on computer-based Point of Sale system
  • Successful completion of the Alcohol Service Program (T.I.P.S.)
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health, safety, and quality management
  • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent
  • Use of computer system and/or Point of Sale operations
  • Experience in casino, bar, or restaurant environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, & divide into all units of measure
  • Ability to follow instruction and perform assigned tasks with limited supervision
  • Must be able to effectively work alone and/or with other team members in a team environment
  • Ability to compose grammatically correct documents
  • Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino requirements
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs

LICENSING

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law
