About the Position
Ohio Dominican University's Mathematics program prepares graduates for careers in a variety of industries, including teaching, as well as for further study in graduate school. ODU offers a major and minor in Mathematics; a major in Integrated Mathematics Education is also available. The Mathematics program also offers innovative teaching approaches such as The Flipped Classroom and One Room Schoolhouse allow increased interaction with instructors and a more personalized degree path.
Ohio Dominican University is continually searching for part-time faculty members to teach in a variety of academic disciplines. We maintain a file of potential candidates that we review when a specific need arises. We contact candidates when we find a match and keep these positions continually posted so that we can maintain an active and up to date pool.
Ohio Dominican offers classes in the daytime, at night, and online in a variety of academic disciplines. Minimum qualifications to teach courses at the university include a master's degree and a strong interest in teaching. Prior teaching experience, especially of adult learners, is a plus.
Again, we are continually searching for adjuncts on as need basis. If there is a suitable opening, the university will contact qualified applicants for an interview.
