    The role

    Boundless Education is transforming current systems of education. Our educational concept empowers all students to explore their natural creativity, discover their true passions, and shape their own future. We apply competency-based and skill-based assessment through place-based experiential learning, supportively led by teachers as mentors.

    We are seeking passionate, dedicated educators to join our 1314-year-old Trailblazer group across our three locations. We are hiring for two distinct but complementary roles:

    Lead Educator
    Owns the overall learning design, programme delivery, and classroom culture. Leads the educator partnership and mentors the Support Educator.

    Support Educator
    Partners with the Lead Educator to deliver high-quality, inclusive learning experiences. Leads small-group instruction, reinforces systems, and ensures every student can access the curriculum.

    These are fixed-location roles not traveling teacher positions.

    Primary Responsibilities


    Learning Support & Facilitation

    For Lead Educator

    Design rigorous, standards-aligned interdisciplinary PBL units with explicit scaffolding for executive functioning

    • Facilitate student discourse using Socratic seminars, debate, and critique protocols
    • Use formative assessment continuously and build meaningful feedback cycles, rubrics, and exhibitions of learning
    • Integrate literacy across disciplines while keeping projects engaging and academically deep
    • Map the curriculum calendar, manage pacing, and ensure launch readiness

    For Support Educator

    • Assist the Lead Educator in delivering engaging, personalized learning experiences for students aged 1314
    • Run targeted workshops independently (math, literacy, research, writing) and lead small-group instruction
    • Monitor and assess student progress, feeding input back to the Lead Educator to adjust teaching methods
    • Provide actionable feedback on student work and support struggling learners without stigma
    • Bring local culture to life in the classroom and beyond, assisting with language and place-based learning


    Student Well-being & Environment

    For Lead Educator

    • Build advisory-style relationships with adolescents; understand identity development and social dynamics
    • Handle emotional volatility calmly, set firm boundaries without power struggles, and see behaviour as communication
    • Take ownership of classroom culture and communicate proactively with families

    Both Roles

    • Foster a culture of belonging by modelling social skills and providing mentorship in academic and social-emotional development
    • Act as an advocate for students with academic, social-emotional, or behavioural concerns
    • Supervise and guide students during break and meal times and off-campus place-based learning
    • Contribute to planning sessions and brainstorming for interdisciplinary projects and experiential learning


    Operational Support

    For Lead Educator

    • Mentor the Support Educator intentionally give and receive feedback professionally
    • Proactively identify gaps in the programme and solve them with a systems mindset
    • Work collaboratively with the curriculum team and lead joint planning sessions

    For Support Educator

    • Step in to cover the Lead Educator during absences, ensuring continuity in the learning experience
    • Assist with classroom organisation, setup, and cleanup to maintain an effective environment
    • Support administrative tasks and ensure learning resources are available as needed
    • Collaborate respectfully, follow through reliably, and communicate directly with colleagues

    About you

    Lead Educator Qualifications & Experience

    • 37+ years teaching Middle School (Grades 68 / ages 1014)
    • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating Project-Based Learning (PBL)
    • Experience planning interdisciplinary units across subject areas (not just subject silos)
    • Strong assessment literacy: rubrics, feedback cycles, and exhibitions of learning
    • Ability to facilitate student discourse and maintain academic rigour while keeping projects engaging
    • Genuinely enjoys adolescents understands identity development and social dynamics
    • Speaks with energy and clarity; tells stories about their classroom; thinks on their feet
    • Demonstrates emotional range, curiosity in conversation, and asks thoughtful questions

    Support Educator Qualifications & Experience

    • 25+ years teaching upper elementary or middle school
    • Experience supporting or co-teaching in PBL environments
    • Comfortable with lesson planning, preparation, and differentiating for varied ability levels
    • Strong small-group instruction skills and the ability to manage groups independently
    • Organised and detail-oriented with good executive functioning
    • Relationally strong builds warm relationships and brings steady, calm energy
    • Coachable, growth-oriented, and comfortable sharing leadership without needing to be the centre of attention

    For Both Roles

    • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in the local language (Spanish) is a strong plus
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
    • Passionate about student-centred learning; able to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues
    • Willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing needs in dynamic environments
    • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
    • Familiarity with project-based and experiential learning methodologies

    *Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check or equivalent.
