Come be a part of the iconic Blackberry brands as a Marketing Intern this Fall!We are looking for an engaged, proactive, creative and conscientious Marketing student to join the Content Team in our marketing department at Blackberry.


This on-site position will assist the Marketing team in day-to-day responsibilities including organic social media content creation, digital and email communication needs, community management, e-commerce marketing support, brand strategy execution, reportingand applying your unique skills and talents to create better functionality for the team. This opportunity will provide hands-on real world experience copywriting, organic and paid social media, in-house creative processes, and the opportunity to participate in brainstorming sessions. The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator and Content Manager to assist with projects related to social mediadevelopment including coordination and management of Blackberry Farm, Blackberry Mountain and High Hampton's communications and branding, social media platformsand general online presence through the planning and creation of email and social media campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain clear and consistent brand voices.
  • Assist with tracking metrics for content.
  • Assist with social media caption creation.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of college with marketing track, or related field
  • Working knowledge of social media channels and trends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand departmental policies and procedures and to make independent judgments in absence of supervision

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must be capable of learning new computer software programs quickly

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Basic math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office environment for 30-40 hours per week
  • On occasion may have to travel to Blackberry Farm or Blackberry Mountain for specific photo shoots/projects
