Job description

In this role of SeniorManager, Data & Analytics -Sonic the ideal candidate will be critical in enabling theSonicbrand to understand business performance. The Senior Manager will develop recommendations to inform short and long-term strategic decision-making. This individual should be an expert at generating insights from data and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

TheSenior Managerwill be a key resource for the brand in answering business questions efficiently andeffectively, andrequiresstrong thought-leadership skillsin order toassistwith driving business decisions.They will manage a team that can answer a high volume of businessquestions in a fast-pacedenvironment allwhilemaintaininga positive culture focused on team-member development.

*This position sites onsite in our Atlanta Support Center 4 days per week,

typically Monday- Thursday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Insight generation - generate insights that improve the business through linking various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.)

  • Relationship management - develop andmaintainstrong relationships with key stakeholders and partners

  • Business analysis - analyze brand performance and sales trends, including promotion and test analysis

  • Brand performance - analyze andmonitorkey metrics across brand health, product performance, and guest experience, using deep knowledge of the brand and category to forecast future performance

  • KPI reporting - create andmaintainreports that assess ongoing business performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factors

  • Ad hoc reporting - develop, execute, and deliver reports based on brand business requirements

  • Project management - ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectives

  • Team management-create a fun and dynamic team environment that enablesimpactfulworkand supports team member development

  • Artificial Intelligence - proactivelyidentifyopportunity for AIto influence team productivity and quality of insights

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4-Year degreepreferablyin Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics

  • Graduate degree preferred

  • 6+years relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, data management / reporting,consumer insights,or other relatedareaor an MBA

  • Experience managing and developing teams preferred
