Description

Two postdoctoral associate positions are available in Department of Physics, and Biomolecular Science Institute, at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. FIU is a fast-growing R1 public research university, with a research expenditure over $300 M for 2024. We are seeking motivated and creative applicants to join a new 5-year NIH multi-PI project focusing on the development of single-cell analysis methods in IPSC derived neural and cardiac cells and engineered tissues. A PhD in (bio)physics, bioengineering, (bio)chemistry, cell/Microbiology or other related disciplines is required. One candidate will conduct experimental work, and the other candidate will focus on AI-assisted molecular modeling and Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations.
